Homework
All homework will be set on ClassCharts.
If a student does not complete their homework by the deadline, they will be issued a ‘Homework incomplete’ on ClassCharts – this does not incur any negative points and it will be expected to be completed by the next lesson. If a student receives 3 of these in a week they will receive a further sanction.
If following this warning a student then refuses to complete their homework with a reasonable extension, they will be issued a ‘Homework refusal’ on ClassCharts and be given a further sanction. Homework is an integral part of our curriculum and research (EEF) suggests it greatly improves all students learning, it is vital that students keep up to date with the work set.
The OLC is available after school until 4.30pm for any students to complete their homework. There will be staff present to support students if required.
