Remote Learning Statement

Stokesley School is a one to one device school and Microsoft Teams is used both in school and out of school to facilitate learning activity.  We have fully embraced technology and its benefits for learning and we enhanced our practice through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Online learning is used to support students in their studies and with their pastoral needs.  In the unlikely event that school is closed due to national government guidelines, online learning provision will include synchronous live lessons as well as using various software packages currently available to students and, where needed, recorded lessons.

Subject related materials are available in the class Team.  We also provide access to multiple online learning sites for different subjects, including Sparx Maths and Sparx Reader, Seneca and Active Learn.  We also subscribe to EdClass, an online learning platform which we may direct students to from time to time.

Our online provision, should we need it to, allows our students to access learning materials, receive feedback from their teachers and connect as a community via assemblies and other organised group sessions.
