Dress Code

Dress Code Sixth Form students are not required to wear a uniform. However, they must take pride in their appearance and are expected to dress in a manner that is smart/casual, comfortable yet purposeful, and suitable for a school working day. Lanyards are a compulsory part of the Sixth Form dress code. Lanyards with ID cards must be worn by each student at all times. In the event of the loss of an ID card, students must report this immediately and replace this at a cost of £5 on ParentPay.

Appearance is about perception and the expectation is that students will respect decisions made by the Sixth Form Team, without dispute, should concerns over dress code be raised. Sixth Formers are regarded as role models for students lower down the school and their appearance should reflect this.
